NATIVE OF GERMANY DIED IN OHIO

Orrville, Ohio. — Funeral services for Mrs. William Tschantz, 76, long-time resident of the Kidron community, were held at the Salem Mennonite Church on Aug. 24. She died Aug. 21 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lester Wurgler, of Sterling.

Mrs. Tschantz, the former Caroline Sprunger, was born at Hugsweier, Germany and came to the United States at the age of 21. She leaves her husband, a resident of the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton; one son, two daughters and eight grandchildren.
