The funeral for Mrs. Sadie Mast Troyer, widow of Rev. H. N. Troyer, was conducted March 24 at the Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church at Chesapeake, Va. by Philip Miller and A. Wenger. A memorial service was held at the chapel of the McMullen Funeral Home, Harrisonburg, Va., on March 23 by Pastor Moses Slabaugh. The deceased died March 27, aged 77.

She was a daughter of Fred and Lydia Stutzman Mast and was born June 19, 1888 near Millersburg, Ohio. She was married to Herbert N. Troyer on Nov 20, 1910 at Millersburg, Ohio. Before moving to Harrisonburg three years ago to make her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Burkholder, she had resided near Norfolk, Va. with another daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Christian S. Kurtz. She died of a heart condition.

She was a member of the Oyster Point Mennonite Church.

She is survived by seven children: Marie Troyer, Nigeria, West Africa; Galen Troyer, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Christian (Olus) Kurtz, Chesapeake, Va.; Mrs. Warren (Virginia) Burkholder, Harrisonburg, Va.; Mrs. Weldon (Lorene) Martin, Port Arthur, Texas; Mrs. John Troyer, Newport News, Va.; and James Troyer, Canton, Ohio.

Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Joe (Nora) Nafziger of Harper, Kan., 28 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
