Bride of Five Months Pinned Under Tractor

Lagrange, Ind. — A tractor accident Feb. 10 at the farm of Glen S. Troyer near here claimed the life of Mrs. David Troyer, 20, a bride of only five months.

It was reported that Mrs. Troyer had gone to the farmyard to help her husband dislodge a truck from the mud. He was at the wheel of the truck, and she attempted to pull it with a small tractor when the tractor flipped over backward and fell on her.

Her husband used another tractor to pull the machine away. She was rushed to the hospital, where she died one and a half hours later. The Glen Troyers had left that morning for a vacation in Florida.

The young couple was married Sept. 12, 1965 at Aripse, Iowa, and had come to Indiana only two weeks ago from Creston, Iowa. Mrs. Troyer was the former Betty Jo Mohr of Creston. Surviving in additiobn to her husband are her parents, two brothers and four sisters in Iowa.

Rev. Orvan Hooley officiated at services at a Goshen funeral home, after which the body was sent to Arispe, Iowa for final services and burial.
