Bluffton, Ohio. — John Tosh, 61, well known lay leader of the First Mennonite church here, was laid to rest Saturday, July 17, Rev. Alvin Beachy and Rev. Reuben Short officiating. His unexpected death came on July 14 at a Lima hospital.

Mr. Tosh, who was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, was formerly a member of the Bluffton Board of Education and had served as president of the Tri-County Evangelistic Association. At the time of his death he was a member of the Bluffton-Pandora Christian Laymen Association and the Gideon Society. He had been employed by the former Steiner Motor Sales here for 28 years.

WELL-KNOWN LAY LEADER OF BLUFFTON, OHIO COMMUNITY DIED

Bluffton, Ohio. — John Tosh, 61, well known lay leader of the First Mennonite church here, was laid to rest Saturday, July 17, Rev. Alvin Beachy and Rev. Reuben Short officiating. His unexpected death came on July 14 at a Lima hospital.

Mr. Tosh, who was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, was formerly a member of the Bluffton Board of Education and had served as president of the Tri-County Evangelistic Association. At the time of his death he was a member of the Bluffton-Pandora Christian Laymen Association and the Gideon Society. He had been employed by the former Steiner Motor Sales here for 28 years.

He is survived by his wife, one son, two brothers and two sisters.
