• An accident near Dutch Avenue about 12 miles west of Hesston last Saturday afternoon claimed the life of James Torbert, 53, a truck driver for a Stafford constructive firm. Mr. Torert was atempting [sic] to back a bulldozer which was loaded on an open semi-trailer when it toppled off, crushing him to death. The accident was witnessed by Frank Dick, who had stopped to help Mr. Torbert after his truck stalled.
