Pioneer Citizen Passes Away Unexpectedly At His Home.

David Toews, pioneer resident of the Hillsboro, Kansas, community passed away unexpectedly at his home last week. Having complained of a pain in his side, a hot water bottle was given him and he appeared to rest easier. Returning a little later from the outdoors, his daughter found that he had quietly passed away.

Funeral services were hel at the First Mennonite church of Hillsboro.
