● Anna (Friesen) Klassen Toews, 87, of Hillsboro, mother of Elmer Klassen of North Newton, died Nov. 12 at Salem Home, Hillsboro. funeral services were held Nov. 15 at Parview Mennonite brethren Church, Hillsboro. Tim Sullivan and Ken Schultz officiated. Burial was in Springfield Cemetery, rural Hillsboro. A native of Hillsboro, she was a homemaker. Other survivors include one additional son, Leonard Klassen of Marion; two daughters, Bernice Friend of Bentley and Doris Schultz of Mart, Texas; one sister, Susan Kroeker of Reedley, Calif.' 11 grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
