— At Hillsboro funeral services were held early last week for Mrs. John H. Thimm, who died at the home of her children, Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Reimer at Medford, Okla., December 27. Mrs. Thimm was the mother of Ernest Thimm and Mrs. E. L. Cooper of Newton. She had her home at Hillsboro until sometime in October or November, when she went to live at Medford. She was 75 years of age at the time of her death. The funeral took place at the Mennonite Brethren church in Hillsboro. In addition to those in Newton, the following children and her husband survive: Mrs. P. H. Reimer, Medford, Okla.; Mrs. Sam Ewert, Marion, and Mrs. Geo. D. Bergen, Valley Center.
