Driver for Irrigation Company Killed
Henderson, Neb. — Funeral services were held at the Calvary Bible Church here on May 15 for Donald LeRoy Thieszen, 32, who died in a truck accident on May 11. Rev. Delbert Regier and Rev. Abe Krause officiated.
Mr. Thieszen, employed by Henderson Irrigation, was driving a semi-trailer flatbed truck north of Minden when he apparently lost control on a wet, oil road and was thrown from the cab when the truck jack-knifed.
A native of this community, he was the son of Gustav Thieszen, a pioneer in the irrigation industry here, and Mrs. Anna Kroeker Thieszen.
Surviving in addition to the parents are two brothers, Milford of Lincoln and Elroy of Henderson; and two sisters, Mrs. Lester (Verla) Unruh in Ethiopia and Mrs. Clarence (Twila) Gillett in Indonesia.
