Pandora, Ohio. &#8212; Relatives here were informed of the death of Rev. John Thiessen, 75, an instructor at the Detroit Bible College the past 15 years, which occurred June 22 in Detroit. He had suffered from a heart ailment.

A native of Henderson, Neb., he was a member of a pioneering family in Caddo County, Okla. and grew up in the Corn, Okla. community. He was a graduate of Knox College, Galesburg, Ill., Moody Bible Institute and Northern Baptist Seminary.

In 1917 he married the former Rhoda Amstutz of Pandora, and she survives with three daughters, one son, and four grandchildren. The funeral was conducted at the Highland Park Baptist Church, Detroit, with Dr. Aldridge, president of Detroit Bible College, officiating.

Instructor at Detroit Bible College Dies

Pandora, Ohio. — Relatives here were informed of the death of Rev. John Thiessen, 75, an instructor at the Detroit Bible College the past 15 years, which occurred June 22 in Detroit. He had suffered from a heart ailment.

A native of Henderson, Neb., he was a member of a pioneering family in Caddo County, Okla. and grew up in the Corn, Okla. community. He was a graduate of Knox College, Galesburg, Ill., Moody Bible Institute and Northern Baptist Seminary.

In 1917 he married the former Rhoda Amstutz of Pandora, and she survives with three daughters, one son, and four grandchildren. The funeral was conducted at the Highland Park Baptist Church, Detroit, with Dr. Aldridge, president of Detroit Bible College, officiating.
