Winkler, Man. &#8212; Funeral services were held at Schanzenfeld on Sunday, Dec. 12, for Donald Thiessen, 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thiessen of that district who died in a traffic accident

The youth with two brothers, Lloyd, 11, and Brian, seven, along with David Wall, seven, were walking on a municipal road en route to a school program when they were hit by a car driven by Melvin Friesen, 18.

The Wall boy was brought to the hospital here with serious injuries, while the two younger Thiessen boys were treated and released.

MANITOBA BOY KILLED, THREE COMPANIONS HURT WHEN HIT BY CAR

Winkler, Man. — Funeral services were held at Schanzenfeld on Sunday, Dec. 12, for Donald Thiessen, 13-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thiessen of that district who died in a traffic accident
