KITCHENER BOY DIES OF ACCIDENT INJURIES
Kitchener, Ontario.— Henry Thiessen, fourteen year old son of Mrs. Agnes Thiessen, of Kitchener, who was struck by a car or Wednesday, died at the Kitchener-Waterloo hospital on Saturday afternoon.
Henry had been critically injured while chasing a ball onto the street where he ran into an oncoming automobile. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where an emergency operation was performed but he failed to rally and passed away three days later of a fractured skull and other injuries.
Mrs. Thiessen, with two sons and one daughter, came to Canada from Russia approximately 18 months ago.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, June 16, at the Kitchener-Waterloo United Mennonite church on George St., Waterloo. Rev. Henry Epp, pastor of the church, officiated at the services.
