BOY KILLED BY BACKING TRUCK

Altona, Manitoba. — Funeral services were conducted at the Grossweide M. B. church for Harold V. Thiessen, three and one-half year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter N. Thiessen who died under the wheels of a backing truck May 3.

The little boy, unnoticed, crawled onto the running board of a pick-up truck which a neighbor had driven onto the Thiessen yard. When the truck started backing, the lad fell under the wheels and was crushed to death.
