MISS ANNE THIESSEN

Miss Anne Thiessen was born in Russia in 1919. She came to Canada in 1925. In 1926 the family settled in Coaldale. Anne lived in Calgary, Winnipeg, and Vancouver before she took her teacher training in Calgary in 1956. She was, at the time of her death, teaching at Fort Smith, and in early May was drowned in the flood waters of the Mackenzie River System. She leaves to mourn her mother, two sisters and eight brothers.
