Native of Berne Dies in Virginia

Berne, Ind. — Word was received here that Mrs. Henry P. Thielman, 67, a native of this community , died July 29 at Alexandria, Va. The funeral was conducted at the Fairlington Presbyterian Church there.

Mrs. Thielman was the former Lydia Liechty, and was a graduate of Bluffton College and Ohio State University. Her husband, also a Bluffton graduate, was a nationally known mathematician. He died in 1966.

Among Mrs. Thielman's survivors are her mother, Mrs. Emil Liechty of the Berne Nursing Home.
