— A recent issue of the Mennonite reports the death of Dr. Joseph S. Taylor, former District Superintendent of Schools in New york, who passed away at his summer home in the Vermont hills. Dr. Taylor was reared in a Mennonite home in Pennsylvania, and throughout his life had never lost interest in the Mennonite church and its activities. In 1924 when the Springfield, Pa., Mennonite church celebrated its 100th anniversary Dr. Taylor was an honored guest at the occasion.
