ABRAHAM P. SUDERMAN

Abraham P. Suderman, son of Jacob and Eva Pauls Suderman, was born on June 20, 1889, at Moundridge, Kan. Here he spent his boyhood days and later moved with his family to the Galveston, Texas area. After the death of his father, he came to Gotebo, Okla., and made his home with the Richert family. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized upon his confession of faith by the late Rev. Richert and united with the Mennonite Brethren Church. As a single boy of 18, he came to California to work on a farm.

On Dec. 15, 1918, he was united to Tina Boldt in holy matrimony. This union, which lasted 45 years, one month and two days, was blessed with five children, two sons and three daughters. The first ten years of our married life we spent on several farms in the Reedley vicinity. In 1928 we moved to Reedley.

During the last year he was rather ill, and was hospitalized 10 days before his passing. On Jan. 17, 1964, about 7:45 p.m., the Lord called him home to glory. He reached the age of 74 years, seven months and 27 days.

The following mourn his departure: His widow, Mrs. Tina Suderman, Reedley; three daughters, Regina Suderman, a missionary in India, Susan, Mrs. Ferd Reimer, Reedley, and Kathryn, Mrs. Lawrence Harder of Minnesota; two sons, Henry and Dan at Reedley; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Dave of Dinuba, Leonard of Mt. Lake, Minn., and Ernest of Reedley; two sisters, Anna, Mrs. C. K. Brandt, Reedley, and Elizabeth, Mrs. Dave Fast, Hardesty, Okla., and many relatives and friends.

The memorial service was held in the Mennonite Brethren Church, Reedley, on Jan. 22 with the pastor, Rev. Dan Friesen, officiating. — The Family.
