James Stutzman, youngest son of Joseph and Barbara (Troyer) Stutzman, was born at Schickley, Neb. on June 6, 1895. In 1896 he and his family pioneered to Julesburg,

Colo. in a covered wagon. When he was ten years old they again moved to Aurora, Ohio where they lived until 1929.

On June 14, 1924 he was married to Edith L. Gross of Doylestown, Pa. In 1929 he with his family settled on a farm in the Schwenksville, Pa. area, where he died suddenly of a cerebral thrombosis on Feb. 1, 1963, at the age of 67 years, seven months and 25 days.

Surviving are his widow and nine children &#8212; Mary Ellen, Calico Rock, Ark.; James Jr., Kutztown, Pa.; Sara Jean, at home; Kenneth L., Kutztown, Pa.; A. Marlowe, Kutztown, Pa.; J. Merle, LaJunta, Colo.; Donald G. and E. Dale, at home; nine grandchildren and one brother, Lloyd J., Mantua, Ohio, and one sister, Ellen (Mrs. Eldon Miller), Aurora, Ohio. One daughter, Mildred Louise, and one grandson, five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Salford Mennonite Church where funeral services were held on Feb. 5, 1963 in charge of Henry Roth and Willis Miller. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.

JAMES STUTZMAN

James Stutzman, youngest son of Joseph and Barbara (Troyer) Stutzman, was born at Schickley, Neb. on June 6, 1895. In 1896 he and his family pioneered to Julesburg, Colo. in a covered wagon. When he was ten years old they again moved to Aurora, Ohio where they lived until 1929.
