WILLARD W. STUTZMAN

Willard W. Stutzman, son of Abraham and Sarah Miller Stutzman, was born in Milford, Neb. on Jan. 25, 1903; died in Sarasota, Fla. on Dec. 7, 1971 at the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 12 days.

On April 6, 1927 Willard was united in marriage with Mattie Schweitzer, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters and four sons: Virgene [sic Virginia], Mrs. Howard Rohde of Wattsburg, Pa.; Betty, Mrs. Rolin Rienheimer of Stevens, Pa.; Richard of Corry, Pa.; Dwayne of New Holland, Pa.; Gary of Collegeville, Pa.; and Ronald of Marion Center, Pa.

Willard is also survived by 20 grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers: Florence, Mrs. Orval Schweitzer of Corry, Pa.; Arla, Mrs. Willard L. Stutzman of Oregon; Vernon Stutzman of North East, Pa.; Clarence Stutzman of Wood River, Neb.; and Eldon Stutzman of Buhl, Idaho. Willard was preceded in death by one son, Neil, in December 1965.

Having spent his early years in Nebraska, Willard moved with his wife and family to Filer, Idaho in 1940. In 1943 he moved to Corry, Pa. where he engaged in dairy farming until his retirement in 1968. At the time of his death he was beginning his second winter in Florida. He had also spent one winter in Arizona since his retirement.

Willard had been a faithful member at the Beaverdam Mennonite Church since November 1943. Until his death he had been a member of the Administrative Council of the church and he was assistant secretary of the Sunday school.
