Ohio Man Dies Suddenly

Sonnenberg, Ohio, Dec. 27. — Last Thursday afternoon Rudy Studer attended the Kidron Auction for a short time, chatting with people as usual. He came to Kidron to buy meat and groceries for the funeral of his sister-in-law, who had died at the Studer home and arrangements were made for the funeral on Friday. Mr. Studer went home at three o'clock, when about fifty rods from his house the gasoline in his auto was exhausted. He walked to the house for gas. Undertaker Desvoigne, who was there, taking care of the body of his sister-in-law, and a neighbor were standing in the yard talking when Studer arrived and when he suddenly collapsed. The undertaker and neighbor carried him into the house and he died in the undertaker's arms. He is survived by his wife and four children: Clair, of North Canton; Walter, of Columbus; Irvin of Huntington, W. Va. and Mable, a student in the Bluffton College; four brothers, Dr. Benj. and John, of Orrville; Fred, of Zanesville; Gottlieb, of Rittman; two sisters, Mrs. (Rev.) Poetter, of Marshalville, and Mrs. Ferdinand Sheuffler, of Dalton. The church and community lost a respected citizen. Funeral was held Sunday from the Salem church, which was the largest that ever was held at that church. Rev. A. R. Keiser conducted the funeral. He was assisted by S. K. Mosiman, of Bluffton. Brother Studer's age was 57 years, 5 months and 29 days. — Pandora Times.
