• Mrs. Deloris L. Stucky, 50, of Moundridge died Jan. 9 at the Friendly Acres retirement home in Newton after a long illness of multiple sclerosis. She was the widow of Carl J. Stucky, who died last August of burns suffered in an explosion and fire at the farm home near Moundridge. Surviving are six daughters, LeAnn, Leona, Debra, Dorothy, Lynnett and Carla; one son, Donavan; her mother, Mrs. Martha Schrag of Moundridge; one brother, Elvin Schrag of Moundridge; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Lynn Goering of Galva and Mrs. Shirley Schrag of Hesston; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Stucky was a member of the Hopefield Mennonite Church. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Eden Mennonite Church, with Rev. Andrew R. Shelly, Hopefield pastor, in charge. Rev. H. B. Schmidt of Deer Creek, Okla. assisted in the service and Rev. Peter Voran of Pretty Prairie conducted the service at the graveside in the Hopefield Cemetery.
