This union was blessed with 13 children, eight sons and five daughters.
She enjoyed good health until 15 years ago when she submitted to surgery. She recovered from it very well and again piecing quilts and doing things around the house. In 1963 she entered the Memorial Home near Moundridge where she made her home and enjoyed the fellowship of aged friends.
In July of 1963 she had the misfortune of falling and breaking her hip.
