LONG-TIME RESIDENT AT PRETTY PRAIRIE CALLED AWAY IN DEATH

Pretty Prairie, Kan. — Funeral services for Jonas A. Stucky, 71, resident of this community since 1886, were held at the First Mennonite Church here March 6. Dr. H. G. Nyce officiated.

Death came on March 3 following an acute heart attack. Born at Marion, S. D. Aug 4,1884, Mr. Stucky came to Pretty Prairie with his parents and grew to manhood here. Although following the vocation of farming, he was much interested in community and local church history and his writings appeared in several papers. He had been a member of the church here since April 8, 1900.
