Young Archbold Woman Dies Playing Volleyball

Archbold, Ohio — Amy Jo Stuckey of rural Archbold died Aug. 15 after collapsing while playing volleyball in Archbold Memorial Park. She was 24.

Following graduation from Hesston (Kan.) College in 1984, she was employed as an optometric technician in the office of Archbold optometrist John Emch.

She was a member of Lockport Mennonite Church near Stryker, where she was a Sunday school teacher, active in the Mennonite Youth Fellowship, young adults group and church volleyball.

Survivors include her parents, Bill and Valetta Stuckey, a sister, a brother, and five nieces and nephews.
