Barbara Strausz

Barbara Strausz daughter of Peter and Marie Kaufman was born July 12, 1846 in Waldheim, Russia.

On May 14th 1886 she was united in marriage to Jacob Strausz, a widower with five children and this union was also blessed with one son.

On August 14, 1914 her second husband died again leaving her with one son at home.

For the past several years her health had been steadily failing and for the past five weeks she was bedfast. She passed away June19, 1930 at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 6 days.

She leaves to mourn two sons, 18 grand children, 9 great-grand children, four step children, two half brothers, six half sisters and many friends. — Moundridge Journal.
