DARYL WADE STRAUSS

Daryl Wade Strauss of Tofield, Alta. passed away Sept. 18. He was born June 16, 1990 to Calvin and Julene Strauss. He had a congenital heart defect diagnosed before birth, but was delivered safely following many prayers. After 5 weeks he went home, where he became known as "Little Buddy". He returned to the hospital for open heart surgery and, after more prayers, came home again. However, he developed a lung infection and passed away a few days later. He is mourned by his parents; sisters Candice and Leanne; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Strauss of Kelowna, B.C. and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Dickau of Wetaskiwin, Alta.; and great-grandparents. The funeral was Sept. 21 in Tofield Gospel Church, with Calvin Buehler ministering.
