● Memorial services for Ross Edwin Stokely, 78, of Newton, were held April 18 at Inter-Mennonite Fellowship, Hesston, with Ken Strong officiating. A retired Central Intelligence Agency employee, he died April 14 at Presbyterian Manor, Newton. Survivors include his wife, Mary B. (Brunner); one son, Dan, of Newton; two brothers, Roy of Tucson, Ariz., and Ray of Rockford, IIl.; two sisters, Marian Stokely and Mildred Kirkpatrick of Wichita; and three grandsons.
