Following their marriage the couple operated a farm at Kirchnerville until 1945 when they moved too New Bremen. From 1952 to 1966 Mrs. Steria operated a convalescent home in New Bremen. |

MRS. JOSEPH STERIA
Mrs. Helena Noftsier Steria, 68, wife of Joseph Steria, died May 2, 1967, in the Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville, New York, where she had been a patient five days.
The funeral was held May 5, 1967, with a prayer service at 1:15 p.m. at the family home at New Bremen, and a service at 2:00 p.m. at the Conservative Mennonite Church at Croghan, of which she was a member. Rev. Richard Zehr, pastor, officiated.
