FATALLY INJURED WHEN AUTOS COLLIDE AT COUNTRY INTERSECTION

Berne, Ind. — A collision at a country intersection northeast of here the evening of July 4 proved fatal to Mrs. Lilly L. Steiner, 47, wife of Dennis Steiner. She passed away at Adams County Memorial hospital several hours after the accident.

Mr. and Mrs. Steiner and daughter Cosetta were all thrown from their car when it collided with one driven by Edison Lehman, also of Berne. Cosetta suffered a broken collar bone and other injuries, but is recovering, while the two drivers suffered only minor injuries.

Funeral services for Mrs. Steiner were conducted at the First Mennonite church here on July 7, with Elmer Ediger, assistant pastor, in charge. She is survived by her husband and three daughters; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Manasse Liechty; three brothers and six sisters.
