FUNERAL FOR FATALLY INJURED MAN HELD AT EMMAUS CHURCH

Whitewater, Kans., Sept. 16. — Charles Steiner, one of a group of eight persons who were injured in an automobile collision which took place on the county highway last Thursday evening one mile south of Trotter's Corner, twelve miles south of Whitewater, died last week of his injuries.

He is survived by his wife, son and three daughters. Funeral services were conducted at the Emmaus church northeast of Whitewater on Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Theodore Roth in charge.

There was a very large attendance at the funeral — Whitewater Independent.
