• Miss Anna M. Stauffer of Halstead died March 9 at Bethel Deaconess Hospital after a brief illness. She was 93. A native of Summerfield, Ill., she had resided at Halstead since 1876. There are no immediate survivors. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Halstead, with Rev. Arnold Funk in charge.

Bethel College Gets $11,000 in Bequest

North Newton. — Bethel College is one of several Mennonite institutions in the area named as benefactors in the will of Anna M. Stauffer, Halstead, who died in early 1966.

The college received a check for $11,071 last week as its share of the estate assets, according to Hartzel Schmidt, director of business affairs.

Miss Stauffer attended Bethel College for two years, 1897-1899.
