Katie P. Stahl, daughter of Paul and Anna Hofer gross, was born Jan. 12, 1896, on a farm southwest of Bridgewater, S. D. and died march 15, 1967, after a short illness. She reached the age of 71 years, two months, and three days.

She was baptized May 23, 1915 by Rev. Paul Tschetter and received as a member of the Neu Hutterthal Mennonite Church. In 1952 she joined the Bethany Mennonite Church.

On Dec. 18, 1918, she was married to Mike J. Stahl, who preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1963. To this union seven sons and three daughters were born.

As life demanded much of mother she would always consider the victorious way of Job. Poor health all her life, the death of a young son, and the suffering by the oldest daughter for 20 years, deeply strengthened her faith in God.

She leaves to mourn tow daughters, Mary and Kathryn (Mrs. Marvin P. Hofer); six sons, Marvin, Jacob, William, John, Paul and Mike; friends and relatives.

KATIE P. STAHL

Katie P. Stahl, daughter of Paul and Anna Hofer gross, was born Jan. 12, 1896, on a farm southwest of Bridgewater, S. D. and died march 15, 1967, after a short illness. She reached the age of 71 years, two months, and three days.

She was baptized May 23, 1915 by Rev. Paul Tschetter and received as a member of the Neu Hutterthal Mennonite Church. In 1952 she joined the Bethany Mennonite Church.

On Dec. 18, 1918, she was married to Mike J. Stahl, who preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1963. To this union seven sons and three daughters were born.
