Berne Industrialist, Civic Leader Dies

Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Grover W. Sprunger, 75, chairman of the board of the Dunbar Furniture Corp. here, were held Oct. 27 at the First Mennonite Church. He died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Russell Studler.

Mr. Sprunger was associated with various businesses here before helping to organize the Dunbar firm, now nationally known in the furniture field. His son, Harold D., is the present manager and president of the company.

Long active in the Mennonite church, where he taught a Sunday school class for many years, Mr. Sprunger also was a leader in civic and community affairs.
