Mr. Sprunger taught in one-room schools of this area as well as in the Dalton and Kidron elementary schools for more than 35 years. At the time of retirement from school work in 1957 he was principal of the new Kidron elementary school.

He was a director of the choir at Salem Mennonite Church for 40 years, and was known for his skill on the baseball field. He had a long interest in penmanship, and was talented in the use of 'Spencerian script.

Former Kidron Teacher, Principal Dies.

Kidron, Ohio. — Funeral services for Clinton G. Sprunger, 66, well-known retired school teacher and principal, were conducted at the Salem Mennonite Church here. he died Feb. 24, one week after suffering a heart attack while at his work in the office of the Orrville Tile Plant.

Mr. Sprunger taught in one-room schools of this area as well as in the Dalton and Kidron elementary schools for more than 35 years. At the time of retirement from school work in 1957 he was principal of the new Kidron elementary school.

He was a director of the choir at Salem Mennonite Church for 40 years, and was known for his skill on the baseball field. He had a long interest in penmanship, and was talented in the use of 'Spencerian script.
