RETIRED TEACHER DIES AT AGE 87

Deer Creek, Ill. — Susan E. Springer, who taught in public schools of McLean, Tazewell and Woodford counties for 30 years, died at the Brokaw Nursing home in Normal recently at the age of 87.

Miss Springer resided at Stanford, Ill. most of her life. Funeral services were held Nov. 5 at a Stanford funeral home. Rev. Herbert Miller, pastor of the North Danvers Mennonite Church, of which she was a member, officiated.
