— Burial services were held at the Bartel church cemetery at Alsen, N. D., for John Spent, who was suddenly called away in death as result of a stroke. Mr. Spent, 40, who was the town grocer, was found dead in his grocery store which he had closed up for the noon hour. His wife was away in Devils Lake consulting a doctor when his untimely death occurred.
