Souderton, Pa. — Funeral services were held at the Rockhill Mennonite Church on Dec. 5 for David M. Souder, 29, who died in a hunting incident on Dec. 2.

Mr. Souder was with a group of hunters in Sullivan County when he was struck by a bullet fired by a hunter some distance away. Later, a 27-year-old Williamsport man was charged with mistakenly killing a human for game.

Mr. Souder was in 1-W service at the General Hospital, Indianapolis, from 1966 to 1968. Since then he had farmed the old Sauder homestead in Franconia Township.

Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Frederick, and a son, David Loren, of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Souder of Route 1, Telford; one sister, Joan M. Souder; and one brother, John M. of Forksville.
