YOUNG FARMER DIES IN TRACTOR ACCIDENT NEAR WATERLOO, ONT.
Waterloo, Ont. — Funeral services were held at the Waterloo Mennonite Church on Jan. 9 for Harry Snyder, 39, prominent farmer here who was crushed under his overturned tractor while on a good will errand. The services were in charge of Bishop J. B. Martin.
Mr. Snyder had backed his tractor out of the shed to help a motorist whom he thought to be stuck. The backing tractor skidded on a bank and turned over, pinning him underneath.
He leaves his wife, who was Dorothy Kipfer, three children, and his mother, Mrs. Veronica Snyder of Waterloo. He was a well-known Shorthorn breeder and active in a number of farm organizations.
