Reedley, Calif. — Word was received here of the recent death in Albany, Ore. of Anna M. Snyder, 66, who pioneered in establishing the MCC relief center in Reedley. Memorial services were conducted in Albany.
Miss Snyder came here in 1946 at the request of the Mennonite Central Committee to establish a clothing center serving the West Coast churches. She began the work in a building at the Immanuel Academy. The center was later moved to the basement of the Medical Building. Miss Snyder served here until 1949.
