FATHER OF REV. FREEMAN SWARTZ OF PENNSYLVNIA CALLED AWAY IN DEATH

Reporting the death of Jacob F. Swartz of Elkins Park, Pa., and Mrs. Mary Snovel, Silverdale, Pa., Rev. Allen m. Fretz recently sent in the following details regarding the departure of these aged residents and funeral services which were held for them:

At a convalescent home at Elkins Park, Phila., on September 26, Jacob F. Swartz, father of Rev. Freeman Swartz pastor of the Mennonite church of Schwenksville, Pa., aged 80 years, 4 months and 5 days. Services and interment at Deep run church on September 30. Pastor A. M. Fretz was assisted by the following minsters, J. J. Plendert, Menno Meyes, h. Nyce, A. J. Neuenschwander and Rev. Schwab.

On October 19, at her home near Silverdale, Pa., Mrs. Mary Catherine Snovel, nee Yost, wife of Isaiah Snovel. Aged 74 years, 6 months and 24 days. Services and interment at Hilltown Lutheran church.
