MEETS DEATH ON HIGHWAY

Leola, Pa. — Irvin Leroy Smoker, 30, rural Honey Brook man who had been handicapped since infancy, was instantly killed Oct. 22 when the three-wheeled cycle he was driving was struck by a car on Route 340 between Bird-in-Hand and Intercourse.

He was employed as a greeting card salesman, and was a member of the Sandy Hill Mennonite Church. The funeral was conducted at the Pequea Church.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Smoker, and eight brothers and sisters.
