MRS. MARGARET SMITH

Mrs. Margaret Smith, 52, resident of Dallas, Oregon for a number of years, died at her home Saturday, Aug. 6, after an illness of three years.

Funeral services were held at the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren church Aug. 9 with Rev. Arno Wiebe officiating. Burial was made in the Dallas cemetery. Bollman Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

She was born November 21, 1902, at Jansen, Nebr., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Friesen. She was married to William G. Smith April 25, 1920, at Montezuma, Kansas.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the E. M. B. church. Surviving are her husband, William G. Smith of Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. Milton R. Miller of Hesston, Kansas, Mrs. Jacob Schriener, Jr., San Diego, Cal., and Mrs. Ben Wiens, Monmouth, Oreg.; one son, Harold of Dallas; and 11 grandchildren.
