MARILYN SIEBERT, 8

On July 18 Marilyn, daughter of N. D. Sieberts, La Glace, Alta., was playing on a workbench in the family woodshed with her 10-year-old brother. While urging their dog to jump up too, Victor bumped some hanging cables, which in turn touched a loaded shotgun hanging there. It discharged in Marilyn's face. She had been a Christian for three years; her sorrowing family know it was the Good Shephed's way of taking their little girl home. Rev. Jake Neufeld, Dawson Creek, officiated at the funeral on July 22.
