Chester C. Siebert, 67, of Pawnee Rock, Kan., passed away on Jun3, after a sudden heart attack.

On April 28 he was severely burned in an explosion, and on May 23 he entered the St. Joseph Hospital at Larned, Kan. for skin grafting.

He was born Jan. 17, 1897, and was a farmer all his life. He was a member of the Bergthal Mennonite Church, Pawnee Rock.

He married Susie Smith on Nov. 8, 1923 at Pawnee Rock. She passed away in 1958. On May 20, 1962 he married Gladys S. Delaplane.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Earl Loganbill of McPherson and Mrs. Lloyd Rempel of Hillsboro; a son, Rev. Roger Seibert of Inman; two step-sons, Robert Delaplane of Bartlesville, Okla., and Howard Delaplane of Pawnee Rock; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Unruh, Mrs. Otto Schmidt of Pawnee Rock, and Mrs. Eddie Harms of Great Bend, and nine grandchildren

The funeral services were held on Jun 5 at the Bergthal church with Rev. Gary Stenson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

CHESTER C. SIEBERT

Chester C. Siebert, 67, of Pawnee Rock, Kan., passed away on Jun3, after a sudden heart attack.

On April 28 he was severely burned in an explosion, and on May 23 he entered the St. Joseph Hospital at Larned, Kan. for skin grafting.

He was born Jan. 17, 1897, and was a farmer all his life. He was a member of the Bergthal Mennonite Church, Pawnee Rock.
