She also spent much time in prayer and her children and grandchildren will miss the daily prayers that ascended in their behalf.

Funeral services were in charge of Olen Nafzinger, Dan Sommers, Virgil Rupp, and Ed Frey, who preached from Heb. 1:27. Burial was in the Pettisville cemetery.

MRS. GEORGE SHORT

Magdalene Nafzinger, daughter of Joseph and Magdalene Nafzinger, was born in Fulton County, Ohio, Nov. 18, 1878 and passed away July 11, 1960, at the Detwiler Memorial hospital, Wauseon, Ohio, aged 81 years, seven months and 23 days.

On March 7, 1907, she was married to George Short,also of Fulton County. They lived on a farm there until 1920. They moved to a farm near Midland, Mich., where they lived until 1946, when they moved to Pettisville, Ohio. About four months later, after having lived together for more than 40 years, he passed away.

She had been suffering from cancer for a number of years, but the immediate cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage.

Mrs. Short is survived by three sons, Walter of Wauseon, Myron of Goshen, Ind., Lloyd of Midland, Mich.; one daughter, Dora (Mrs. Monroe Wyse) of Harrisonburg, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Anna Rupp of Archbold; one brother, Aaron Nafzinger of Huntertown, Ind.; 11 grandchildren, many nephews, nieces and friends.
