Deaths during this period: Elizabeth A. Short, 86, died on Sept. 23. A member of the Zion Mennonite Church, she is survived by her husband, Raymond; one son, Rollin; one daughter, Patricia (Mrs. Charles) Wyse; one brother, Maurice Short; one sister, Martha Short; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. — Louise Stamm.
