He had not been well for several years and was seriously ill for the last month. He celebrated his 90th birthday July 18, 1973 and he and his wife, Amanda Yoder Shenk, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last November. |

LEVI J. SHENK
Levi J. Shenk, son of Bishop John M. and Fannie Good Shenk, died Feb. 23, 1974 at the home of his daughter, Mary Florence Shenk, Harrisonburg, Va. He had not been well for several years and was seriously ill for the last month. He celebrated his 90th birthday July 18, 1973 and he and his wife, Amanda Yoder Shenk, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last November.
An Elida, Ohio native, he had lived most of his life in the Denbigh community, moving to Harrisonburg in October, 1970.
