Pennsylvania Pastor Victim of Accident

Meyersdale, Pa. — Rev. Ammon Shelter, 49, minister of the Carpenter Park Mennonite Church near Holsopple, was fatally injured in a recent haying accident.

Rev. Shelter and a hired hand were riding on a load of hay along a highway when the wagon became disengaged from the tractor and veered into the path of an oncoming car. Rev. Shelter was thrown high into the air and landed on his head, inflicting injuries wich [sic] resulted in death the following day.
