Shelly. — On August 29, 1913, at Quakertown, Pa., suddenly, of heart disease, Eleanora, nee Walp, wife of Abraham C. Shelly, aged 77 years, 4 months, 19 days. Funeral services were held and interment made at the Flatwood Mennonite church, where the deceased was a member, on Sept. 3rd. The funeral services were conducted and the funeral sermon preached from the text solicited by the deceased, John 16:33, 1.e. by A. B. Shelly. The deceased was a faithful wife and mother to 14 children, of whom 6 sons and 4 daughters, besides the husband, survive her. Among the surviving sons is Bro. Harry W. Shelly, pastor of Bethel Mennonite church, Perkasie, Pa. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two brothers.
