Former Music Teacher Dies in California

Pandora, Ohio. — Family members here received word of the death of Mrs. Sara Shank on May 16 in the Upland, Calif. Nursing Home.

The former Sarah Schumacher, she was born near Pandora and attended the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She taught piano here for a number of years and also served as organist at the Grace Mennonite Church.

She was married to Dan Diller in Phoenix, Ariz. on 1932. After his death she married David C. Shank, also in Phoenix, in 1940. He died in 1954. Survivors include three brothers, Hiram of Bogota, N. J., Noah and Orlin of Pandora, and a sister, Salena Schutz of North Manchester, Ind.
